sideways Germany did well - I really thought they were going to win the whole thing
I’m hoping Croatia can take it all, though; nothing against the French, but I’ve loved the Croatian tenacity and it would be cool to see a new country in the list of World Cup winners
Also, Belgium was one side of one of the more entertaining soccer matches I’ve seen which was against Japan. I think that’s easily my favourite game of the tournament that I’ve seen (and I’ve seen most after the group stages were completed).
